Friday, April 29, 2016: Flight from Chicago ORD to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Gabriel’s flight was delayed so I ended up flying alone with an empty seat to my right. I arrived in Amsterdam several hours prior to Gabe, the next day. I found our Air BNB rental and did some exploring.

Saturday, April 30, 2016: Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Our room in the Air BNB was on the fifth floor, up a very narrow staircase. The owner was an architect and owned the building we were in. He has an interesting hobby of building Mechano robots and displays them as artwork on the floors of his residence.
The stairs are too narrow in Amsterdam’s buildings, so they have their own unique method for moving furniture. The tops of all the buildings have special equipment for this.
